Watch a Man Shoot Himself in the Leg During Fake Duel With a Silhouette

The video, it should be noted, contains some graphic language. After all, the man does shoot himself in the leg. So for those who do not want to play the raw footage, the Daily Mail offers a non-vulgar play-by-play:

Standing not six-inches from the target, its was a surprising shot to miss.

Sporting a cowboy hat, he pulls the gun from his pocket* at some speed.

Pulling it out, it goes off and he shoots himself in the leg.

He hollers: ‘I just f***ing shot myself,’ cowering in pain.

Hobbling away for the target, he wails: ‘Ahh son of a b****, I just shot myself.’

Mila Kunis Says She'll Accompany U.S. Marine to Corps Ball

Most men will spend their lives dreaming about going on a date with Mila Kunis – but for one U.S. Marine, that fantasy may very well turn into a reality.

Sgt. Scott Moore, of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, last week set up a YouTube page and posted a video asking the “Friends With Benefits” star to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina.

obama skips Easter address...

President Obama failed to release a statement or a proclamation recognizing the national observance of Easter Sunday, Christianity's most sacred holiday.
By comparison, the White House has released statements recognizing the observance of major Muslim holidays and released statements in 2010 on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha.
The White House also failed to release a statement marking Good Friday. However, they did release an eight-paragraph statement heralding Earth Day. Likewise, the president's weekend address mentioned neither Good Friday or Easter.

'The Hobbit' Is Finally Filming and There's Behind-The-Scenes Video To Prove It!

'Lord of the Rings' mastermind Peter Jackson's much-delayed two-part adaptation of 'The Hobbit' is finally filming, and the Oscar-winning director has posted video of the pre-production process and the films' first days in front of the camera to prove it.

Many 'Lord of the Rings' castmembers are returning to work on Jackson's adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien's beloved novel. 'The Hobbit' tells the story of Bilbo Baggins quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. As part of his adventure, Bilbo travels with Gandalf the Grey and a group of 13 dwarves, led by the legendary warrior Thorin Oakenshield, into the wilds of Middle-Earth and right into the path of goblins, orcs, giant spiders, shape shifters and sorcerers. Bilbo ultimately meets the creature Gollum and gains possession of his "precious" ring, a simple gold band that is tied to the fate of all Middle-Earth.

Fans of the three award-winning 'Lord of the Rings' films know where things go from there.

Multiple actors from the 'LOTR' movies are reprising their roles in Jackson's prequels, including Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, Orlando Bloom as Legolas and Elijah Wood as Frodo. Martin Freeman ('Hot Fuzz') will play Bilbo Baggins and British actor Richard Armitageis set to take on Thorin. Liv Tyler and Viggo Mortensen are among the few principle actors from 'LOTR' who will not be returning to work with Jackson.

The scripts for the films are being kept top secret. So secret, in fact, that Blanchett told Collider while promoting her latest film, 'Hanna,' that she hasn't even seen them yet and doesn't know when she begins filming. "Obviously Galadriel is only a small part of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy, but it was probably the best three weeks I ever had," she said. "I haven't seen a script [for 'The Hobbit'] yet, so I don't know what I'll be doing. Galadriel doesn't factor very strongly in 'The Hobbit.' ... I think it's in the middle of the year that it is happening."

Drug-resistant bacteria found in half of U.S. meat

A new study finds that much of meat and poultry sold in supermarkets is contaminated with drug-resistant staph bacteria.

Researchers bought beef, chicken, pork, and turkey in five U.S. cities and found that nearly half of the meat sampled -- 47 percent -- contained drug resistant strains of Staphylococcus aureus.

The "staph" bacteria is linked to a range of health problems from rashes and respiratory ailments to potentially fatal illnesses such as sepsis and endocarditis. Due to overexposure, staph bacteria have grown resistant to an ever-widening range of the antibiotic drugs used to fight them; Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA has become a deadly scourge in U.S. hospitals.

But there is perhaps no greater contributor to the rise of drug-resistant staphs than the meat industry, where animals are preemptively treated with a range of antibiotics.

Beauty queen 'shoots intruder dead with her pink gun

A beauty queen has told how she shot and killed a burglar as he wrestled with her fiancé during a break-in in the middle of the night.
Police are investigating the death of Albert Hill at 3am in an incident at the Florida mansion which Meghan Brown, 25, shares with fiancé Bobby Planthaber Jr, 43.
The 2009 Miss Tierra Verde had opened the door to him on March 12 in the early hours thinking he was a friend needing a bed for the night.

But she claims the 42-year-old, 18-stone man grabbed her from behind and covered her nose and mouth with his hand, before heading straight to the bedroom.
As she screamed, her fiancé emerged, later telling the St Petersburg Times: 'My number one objective is to get this guy off my fiancée.'
Detectives said the intruder then ordered him to give him money.
The fight between the two men broke the dining room table and chairs but, as they tussled, Miss Brown produced her pink gun from her bedside table.
'I had my gun drawn, focused in on him - as he moved, my gun moved. I waited for my shot and when I saw an opening, I fired,' she told the newspaper.
Miss Brown said she was 'glad' it had been her, because not everybody else would have been as prepared as she was.

MSNBC Never Lets the Facts get in the Way of a Story....

During a segment on his show “MSNBC Live” Monday, host Cenk Uygur decided to go on a tirade against New York Congressman Peter King for his hearings on radical Islam. During the segment, Uygur wanted to “introduce some real facts here,” and pulled up a chart showing the top hate groups in the country. Before reading it told his audience they were all “on the extreme right.” He quickly listed the top two groups, but when he got to the third one, his jaw audibly hit the floor. I’ll let Mediaite’s Frances Martel take over from here:

“Topping the list,” he began, “[are] the Ku Klux Klan with 221 groups. They are followed with Neo-Nazi groups with 170 groups, and”– at this point Uygur stops for a beat, before ending the list with “that doesn’t make any sense.” What doesn’t make any sense? That the third largest hate group contingent in America are black separatist groups. Not exactly the first type of political group conjured up by the phrase “right-wing,” unless Uygur was willing to argue that the social conservatism often found in black separatist groups somehow made them right-wing or some other similarly stretched-out argument. Of course, the socially conservative black separatist groups on the SPLC’s list mostly appear to be chapters of the Nation of Islam, and slamming them would not exactly strengthen Uygur’s argument that focusing on Islamic groups is a waste. [Emphasis added]

Yes, you read that right, but let it sink in for a second. Uygur tried to claim that all the rising hate groups were on the right, and when presented with facts from his own chart that said otherwise, refused to read those facts. And the kicker, as Martel points out, is that that the “black separatist groups” are mainly comprised of Nation of Islam chapters. Wow. And yet Uygur still thinks King’s hearings are a “waste of time.”
